How do solar power works?

A photovoltaic sensor contains "semiconductor" materials, such as silicon, which allows it to convert sunlight directly into electrical energy. Unlike other power generation techniques, photovoltaics (PV) is the only technology capable of producing electricity without mechanical force. A PV installation will not produce any nuisance for you or for those around you.

The electricity production depends mainly on the radiation of the sun, and more precisely on the exposure of the photovoltaic modules. The optimization of the position, the surface area and the stability of the structure hosting the solar installation is therefore essential.

A continuous electric current is thus produced. To be able to effectively consume this electricity; First of all, you will have to convert the direct current into alternating current and then connect it to your low voltage network. The electricity produced is directly consumed (self-consumption), and works in tandem with your conventional electricity.

Components of the solar photovoltaic system
  • The photovoltaic modules are connected in series to constitute what is called a chain. Depending on the desired power, one or more channels are connected in parallel to an inverter.
  • To better withstand the test of time, we opted for a galvanized steel, sized to ensure excellent stability.
  • Also included are the electrical accessories necessary for the proper functioning of your installation: AC cabinet, electrical cables, cable tray, circuit breakers, etc.
  • Optional : A power limiting module to ensure non-injection into the power grid.
